Let Our Professionals Help You Choose the Correct Contact Lenses and Glasses
Longview Eye & Vision in Longview, WA, and Woodland, WA, provide eye care services and products, including contacts and eyeglasses.
Contact Lenses
To ensure the contact lens exam meets each patient’s needs, our doctors have a wide range of contacts to choose from when fitting their patients.
Scleral Contact Lenses
Scleral contact lenses are specialty lenses that vault over the cornea and land on the scleral tissue of the eye. They are indicated for correcting corneal conditions, including corneal transplants, post-refractive surgery, keratoconus, and other corneal ectasias. The lenses can correct irregular astigmatism to achieve stable, clear, and comfortable vision when regular contacts and spectacles cannot. These lenses are medical devices and require a specialty fitting appointment with one of our doctors. If you are currently in scleral contacts or are interested, call our office to schedule an appointment.
MiSight Contact Lenses for Myopia Management
MiSight contact lenses are the first and only FDA-approved soft contact lenses for managing myopia (nearsightedness). Myopia is when the eye struggles to see objects in the distance. Myopia and its magnitude in children can be hereditary and influenced by daily activities. MiSight, a first-of-its-kind daily contact lens option, allows patients to experience clear vision while also working to slow myopia progression. These lenses are indicated for children eight or older with signs of myopia progression. If you would like more information on these contact lenses, please call our office to schedule an appointment and consultation.
